This morning, in honor of World Breastfeeding Week, I sat at the corner of Center and Main in Old Town Manassas and nursed Marky. It's a busy intersection, with a stoplight, so plenty of people were able to stop their cars right in front of my bench and gawk. Woohoo!

Well, okay, I actually just stopped there to nurse Marky because he was hungry and the bench was handy. I didn't remember about Breastfeeding Week until after I sat down. But still.

I had no idea it was national breastfeeding week. I try to be as aware of breasts as possible, but it looks like I just wasn't trying hard enough. There needs to be a concert or a fund raiser or something to raise awareness.
